TWENTY-FOUR HOURS A DAY

The second released CD of the Fats Jazz Band contains a much wider repertoire and style than the previous album, which was dedicated only to the music of Fats Waller. We went back to the music of the 1920s, ("Tiger Rag" with using a bass saxophone), followed by 1930s and 1940s arrangements of recordings made by famous bandleaders - Teddy Wilson, Count Basie, Tommy Dorsey and Duke Ellington with singers such as Billie Holiday, Mildred Bailey, Edythe Wright or Chick Bullock. Of course, we couldn't miss funny and charming songs from Fats Faller's repertoire, or crazy solo demonstrations of Teddy Wilson's piano style.
Fats Jazz Band records all albums together with the singers without the using overdubs or any adjustments of tune, synchronization of the musicians etc. You hear the orchestra exactly as it plays live.
