The World Is Waiting For The Sunrise (LP)

This vinyl is a special 10th Fats Jazz Band’s anniversary gift dedicated to the wild range of styles and colors which first half of the past century brought. From hot jazz and sweet dance music up to the most crazy swing and boogie-woogie. Enjoy a trip into the magical music world of the past. Recorded and mastered 100% analogue - with Sonodore RCM 402, Neumann U87 and KM184 microphones through Sonosax SX-T mixing console directly to Studer A80 half inch stereo master recorder at 30 ips. No additional outboard equipment was used, the whole process was kept in analogue domain. No overdubs were used during recording (including singers). Little bigband playing arrangements from 1920s - 1940s using reconstructed array of vintage instruments. Special instruments used in this recording: Hammond organ model C2 + PR 40 tone cabinet (4, 6 B), C-melody saxophone (4 A, 2 B), bass saxophone (3 A). FATS JAZZ BAND is a first class nine-piece orchestra steeped in the authentic hot jazz and swing music from 1920s till 1940s. The orchestra plays original arrangements which take you to another world, make your blood boil, and bring you back in time to the era of elegance, glamour gowns, and hot parties. FATS JAZZ BAND is authentic; the bandleader Ladislav Fanzowitz transcribes carefully chosen old shellac recordings by ear to music scores. That's why you have a unique opportunity to listen to the original arrangements as they were played by jazz legends in their time. Furthermore, FATS JAZZ BAND also uses reconstructed array of historical musical instruments and vintage clothes. The whole impression of the orchestra fully grasps the period of music and style that FATS JAZZ BAND represents.
